Baseline Concussion Testing: On August 6th at 1:00 pm, baseline concussion testing will be held in the Legacy Gym. This is the only date for the entire school year that baseline testing will be conducted in the Grand Meadow School so if a student will be going out for a fall, winter or spring sport, they should still attend on this date. Often times, students that have received a concussion can return to play sooner than athletes who do not have an established baseline. All athletes need to have this Red Cap information filled out prior to showing up for the baseline testing. This can be done via computer or with a smart phone. There is a huge emphasis that this needs to be filled out by the athlete and not their parents as there are questions only the athlete knows. Parents can absolutely assist their kids when completing. | ||
